Greene County junior Jesse Miller is a 6′ 6″, 215 lbs. tight end/defensive end on the football team. He spoke to Raccoon Valley Radio about the depth he expects the Rams to have this season. “Coach told us every single spot is up for grabs considering how much depth we have, but it’s up to the seniors and junior to be the leaders. We need to help the younger kids out because once we’re gone, we still want to have the legacy of Ram football and how good we are to live on.”

Saturday is the first practice with full contact. Friday, Aug. 20 will be a practice scrimmage in Jefferson with Nevada at Linduska Field. The regular season starts on Aug. 27 in Guthrie Center vs. ACGC and the home schedule begins on Sept. 3 in Jefferson vs. Perry in the annual Battle for the Cowbell.
