Wednesday, August 18th

8:04am: A deputy and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a tractor fire in the 1200 block of Pioneer Avenue. The fire was put out prior to the arrival of the fire department with minimal damage to the tractor.

8:19am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 800 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

11:10am: Rebecca Clemmons 60 of Ames was booked into the jail for an arrest warrant out of Nebraska for an unpaid fine.

11:56am: A deputy investigated a theft in the 2300 block of 170th Street.

3:32pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint around Grand Junction.

4:02pm: A deputy assisted with cattle out on D Avenue near 120th Street.

11:03pm: Brett Johannes 46 of Story City was booked into the jail for operating a motor vehicle with an interlock device.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
