Once again WCV head football coach Jim Lindsay sat down to talk about the 2021 season on the Wahl McAtee Tire & Service Center Guthrie County PM Sports Page.

Coach Lindsay had mentioned he had seen progress already just as practice started last week. This week I asked him if that continued. “Yes I do. The progression to being able to read plays on the fly and things like that. Last year we had to teach them that on the fly. Now we’re seeing guys do that on their own.”

Lindsay was then asked about if he had formulated the depth chart for 2021. “Yeah we’re starting to see. We’re starting to formulate. But yeah they’re starting to sort themselves out. We as coaches are starting to figure out our depth charts. We’ll know more after our scrimmage on Friday.”

The Wildcats will have a lot of returning players and some new faces for 2021.
