With the fall sports season getting underway, the Panorama Panthers Cross Country Team begins its season today with an invitational meet.

Panthers Cross Country heads to the Gowrie Country Club for the junior varsity and varsity Southeast Valley Invitational against other familiar area schools including Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, Perry and West Central Valley among ten other schools.

Ahead of the season, preseason rankings were released from the website, iowarunjumpthrow.com, the Panthers Girls Cross Country Team received a preseason ranking of 13th for 1A. The boys team did not receive a ranking for preseason from the website.

The Panthers Cross Country teams takes action today for the Southeast Valley Invitational and after today will look ahead to their next meet in another invitational at 5 p.m. September 2nd.
