The time has finally come for WCV to start the fall sports season.

Three different teams will start the fall season. The Boys and Girls Cross Country will be competing in the Southeast Valley Invitational. Both the girls and boys will be going against 13 other schools in the invitational. The meet will start at 5pm at the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course.

Following their very successful performance in their scrimmage, the volleyball team will be in their first regular season matchup. The Wildcats will be taking on Woodward-Granger. The first set will start at 7pm in Stuart.

The football team won’t join the season until tomorrow. They’ll be hosting North Mahaska in Stuart with kickoff at 7pm.
