Guthrie County Fair has more exciting events on Friday. 

The day begins with a 4-H and FFA Swine Show at the swine ring and Cribbage Tournament in the 4-H and FFA Educational Center at 8am. More morning events include 4-H and FFA Horse Show followed by Open Class at the east arena at 8:30. There will be Open Class Ag and Art Exhibit Judging at 9am. Additionally in the morning there will be an Antique Tractor Display from 9am to 5pm south of the show ring. 

In the afternoon there will be free carnival rides from noon till 10pm and a sheep and goat show at the show ring. American Legion Bingo Stand will take place from 3pm till closing along with corn picking and shelling at the south end of the fairgrounds. The Clover Kids Show will be at the show ring at 6:30pm. Then into the evening, the Grandstand events will start with Mutton Busting at 6:30pm and the final show of the day is the Grand River Rodeo at 7 with free admission to the grandstand events. 

The cost of entry is $10 daily for ages above five years old and free for ages five years and younger, along with active military.

Additionally, Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from the fair today through Sunday from 10am-6pm and Monday from 10am-3pm.
