The WCV girls cross country team came up with a big win on Thursday.

The Wildcats had their first home meet in Red Oak on Thursday. WCV had a very successful showing last week, they had four medal winners including Sophomore Tait Koch, Sophomore Chasey Rowan, Freshmen Zalina Morse, and Junior Kate Dredge. The Wildcats continued that momentum finishing first as a team in their meet on Thursday. Tait Koch continued to have a great showing she earned a fifth place medal. Zalina Morse also took home another medal with an 11th place finish.

Cross country will some time off before their next meet. It’ll be on Sept. 11, they’ll be in the Greene County Ram Invitational. The action starts at 10am in Jefferson.
