adm-7

ADM Tigers football was able to put up another victory at home in week 2 high school action, putting together a 31-14 victory over a physical Ballard team. The Tigers move to 2-0 on the season, Ballard to 0-2 as the Tigers are 2-0 for the first time since 2018.

The Tigers defense and specials teams were able to make some big plays throughout the night, as they were able to force five turnovers during the game, many of which turned into points.

Ballard led 7-3 after one quarter of play, but ADM was able to take advantage of a fumble recovery with sophomore Brevin Doll rushing for a touchdown, and then a bad snap on a punt led to senior Matt Dufoe reaching the end zone as the Tigers were able to take a 10 point lead into the half. In the second, Ballard was able to score midway through the third quarter of play to cut the lead to 3, but Dufoe was able to score once again on a rushing touchdown, and then ADM put it away midway through the 4th with a Chase Grove rushing touchdown.

The Tigers were able to once again find some great success on both sides of the line of scrimmage, getting another great game from their defense, slowing down a good Ballard offense with good muscle up front.

Junior Vince Benetti was able to record a sack and multiple tackles for loss.

For ADM, they will be moving on to the road for the first time this year, when they compete against North Polk, with the hopes of putting up a great performance against a good club.
