There are a couple of programs coming up soon with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

The U6 Soccer program will be on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm at Kelso Park, from September 13th-October 4th. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the sport and shin guards are mandatory. Cost to participate is $20 for Greene County Community Center members and $25 for non-members. Deadline to sign up is Monday.

There is also a Mini Cheerleading Camp for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade boys and girls. The program will take place Tuesday and Thursday from 4:15-5:15pm at the community center. Participants will learn cheers, jumps, and routines, which they will perform before the home football game this Friday at 6:30pm. The camp will be led by the Greene County High School cheerleaders and coach Shannon Black. Cost to participate is $10 for community center members and $15 for non-members.
