With the Labor Day holiday on Monday, residents of Dallas County should be aware of building closures. 

For Perry residents, Perry City Hall, Perry Waterworks office and the Perry Public Library will be closed on September 6th for Labor Day. The McCreary Community Building will also be closed but members who are 18 and over can still use the 24-hour fitness center. 

Also, garbage routes in Perry for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday and garbage routes for Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday. There will be no yard waste pickup on Wednesday and that service will resume on September 15th for areas south of Willis Avenue. 

For Adel residents, Adel City Hall and the Adel Public Library will both be closed on September 6th, and all Dallas County offices will also be closed for the holiday.
