As National Preparedness Month is observed during the month of September, the Dallas County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is helping people get prepared.
Recently, Dallas County EMA announced it will be doing a national preparedness campaign throughout the month that will help people prepare by making a plan, building a kit, preparing for disasters and teaching youth about preparedness.
The Dallas County EMA is sharing social media posts via their Facebook page each week in September that will assist those following along in getting prepared in case of a disaster as they could happen at any time.
With the weeks of information already beginning some information has already been shared including making a plan for September 1-4 and currently for September 5-11 it is focusing on building a preparedness kit.
