For those wanting to enjoy some free food for lunch or dinner, a food truck festival will be taking place tomorrow in Perry.
Raccoon Valley Bank recently announced a series of food truck festivals which will take place this month at several bank locations, and the first one is tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Perry. President and CEO Terry Nielsen says these special events are a fun way to coincide with the football season.
“What a great way to give back in the spirit of high school football, college football this time of year. Some great tailgating foods from these food trucks. They are awesome, we are trying to use as many local food trucks as we can.”
Nielsen tells Raccoon Valley Radio the next event will be today in Grimes which will run from 5-7 p.m. Nielsen says the food trucks, will be offering free food and they will be easy to locate.
“Most of the time we will probably have them sitting out in our bank parking lots or potentially right near our drive through facilities.”
Nielsen says people will also have the ability to register to win a tailgate prize during the food truck festivals. For more information on each food truck festival and their locations you can go here.
