Once again WCV head football coach Jim Lindsay sat down to talk about the 2021 season on the Wahl McAtee Tire & Service Center Guthrie County PM Sports Page.

After we discussed last week’s loss to Red Oak, I asked Coach Lindsay about how he quickly he started prepping for Eagle Grove. “When I was on the road to my oldest son’s game Saturday at 9 o’clock. I downloaded our game  and Eagle Grove’s game on my iPad. Doesn’t matter win or lose. We were prepping ready to go Saturday morning.”

Coach Lindsay would continue to talk about the different challenges Eagle Grove presents. “Yeah Eagle Grove adds a new dimension. They like to run a flexbone offense but run a little more option out of it. Our offenses are going to look very similar, but you know it’s big do your job, responsibility week for us.”

The Wildcats will be on the road taking on Eagle Grove with kickoff at 7pm.
