The WCV volleyball team lost a hard fought battle against the Madrid Tigers.
The Wildcats’ early season struggles continued as they lost their 10th game of the season. WCV jumped in front by winning the first set in a very tightly contested set. They managed to edge out the win 25-19 to take set one. Unfortunately they couldn’t keep that momentum. They lost the second set by a score of 25-15. Tying it up at one win each. The Tigers would flip the script of the first set winning 25-19. Giving them the 2-1 lead. Madrid would close out game with a dominating 25-8 win in the fourth set to take the series 3-1.
The Wildcats will regroup and be back on the court next Tuesday. They’ll be back at home to take on Interstate 35 at 7:15pm.
