Sept 10:
Received a report of a theft from vehicle in the 1200 block of 181h Street. Case under
investigation.
Accident:
Unit 1-white 2012 Toyota Highlander, registered to ;md driven by Sonya M Ackerson 1001,
Nashua, Iowa.
Unit 2 legally parked 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle registered to Baruby Manuel Ruiz Salgado, 411
4th St., Perry.
A witness in the 1100 block of 2nd St reported unit 1 was backing out of a parking spot and
struck unit 2. Total estimated damages $500.

Accident:
Unit 1 Gray 2019 Ford Explorer registered to Roy Lee Pittman, 3385 1701h st., Yale, driven by
Shirley Jean Pittman, 3385 1701h Street Yale, lA.
Unit 2 red 2021 GMC Yukon registered to Chris Matthew Hinds, 308 Lucinda, Perry, driven by
Lynn Marie Hinds, 308 Lucinda, Perry.
Unit 2 was west bound on highway 141. Unit 1 had stopped at the stop sign of the intersection
of Willis Ave and Highway 141. Unit 1 proceeded into the highway with the intention ofturning
eastbound. The front passenger side of vehicle 2 struck the front driver’s side of unit 1 causing
extensive damage estimated at $35000. The passengers in both units were transported by
ambulance to hospitals in Des Moines.
Sept 14:
Arrest: A 15 year old male from Jefferson, Iowa was taken into custody and charged with theft
5th degree in the 1200 block of 18th Street.
