For youth interested in participating in basketball, the deadline to register for a program with Adel Parks and Recreation is fast approaching. 

Adel Parks and Recreation will be hosting basketball for 1st and 2nd graders with  practices beginning in the middle of October. The deadline to register for the program is October 8th with a fee of $55 and includes a t-shirt. 

The practices will be one to two days per week in the evenings and games will begin on Saturdays from November 6th until December 18th in Adel. There will be no games scheduled on November 27th. 

There are both girls and boys divisions and volunteer coaches are needed to help out with the program.
