The WCV volleyball team fought back to get their third win of the 2021 season on Tuesday.

It’s no secret that the Wildcats have had a rough season. However the Wildcats rallied and defeated Interstate 35 on Tuesday. The first set was a very close contest. It was a back and forth affair. WCV rallied from trailing at 16-11 at one point. The Wildcats mounted a great comeback and took the first set 28-26. WCV would carry that momentum the rest of the night. They went on to sweep the Roadrunners in three sets. Winning the second set in another hard fought battle 25-22. Then the Wildcats finished out the night with a 25-20 win.

WCV will get a bit of a break. Their next game won’t be until Monday. They’ll be taking part in the Saydel Invitational, starting at 5:30pm in Saydel.
