Recently, the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office received a donation from the Ten Squared Men of Guthrie County for a new canine and a donation from Vested Interest in K9s for body armor for both their dogs.
Sheriff Marty Arganbright says the new dog is a smaller breed of the German Shepherd from Czechoslovakia named “Urs.” Arganbright appreciates the donations.
“Happy to get (donation) it meant a lot to us that they did that and considered us to be awarded that amount of money.”
Arganbright says that both of the dogs will be trained in apprehension, drug detection and tracking, and their handlers will be with them 24/7.
