Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball returned to the court last night in a key Raccoon River Conference game, and they were able to come out victorious over the Carlisle Wildcats, winning three sets to none 25- 18, 25-19, and 25-21. The Tigers move to 11-3 on the season and 5-0 in RRC play, Carlisle moves to 6-15 on the season and 1-5 in conference play.

The Tigers were able to work quickly and efficiently throughout the game, as they were able to establish a winning identity early in the game. The Tigers were able to get 15 kills from senior Campbell James and 10 kills from sophomore Marissa Gerleman. Freshmen Madi James was able to pick up 18 digs on the night with junior Dani Person able to chip in with 11 on the night.

The Tigers will have a quick turnaround tomorrow when another Raccoon River Conference team comes to Adel, as the North Polk Comets and their undefeated conference record come to town. First tip will be around 7 o’clock.
