UPDATE: The girls race up in Perry has been cancelled due to weather and soggy course conditions.

DCG state ranked 3A number 1 boys and number 3 girls will be returning to the course today, with the boys to be competing at Southeast Polk.

The boys team will be taking on some titans from around Central Iowa with numerous 4A schools competing in the event, as they will be hoping to keep pace and hold their own against top flight competition. The boys will be hoping that can run some of their quickest times of the season in the race.

Weather could play a factor in the races today, and both teams will continue to monitor that throughout.

The boys race will be projected to start around 4:30, as Dallas Center – Grimes clubs will be looking to put on a good show in what is hopefully some good performances today from both teams.
