
The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is offering a lifeguard course that has a registration deadline coming up soon.
The course offers CPR training, first aid and lifeguarding skills, and those attending must be able to swim 300 yards using freestyle and/or breast stroke. The pre-course swim will be at 6 p.m. October 14th.
The class will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 16th and 17th with a cost of $125 for members and $150 for non-members. The deadline to register for the class is October 8th and a link will be sent out to participants to complete seven hours of online learning.
