According to the Guthrie County Public Health Department, Guthrie County has reached 70 percent of the population vaccinated. 

Guthrie County Public Health Director says that since the majority of the county has been vaccinated the death count has been zero in the last eight months. Arber explains there has been some break out cases within vaccinated people but they are very few. 

“It definitely is proving to be very effective from keeping people from getting sick and it is also preventing people from getting severely sick, our hospilizations in vaccinated people account for only 10 percent of the hospitalizations.”

Arber also states there is only a .14 percent chance someone is vaccinated to get COVID-19 and there have been zero deaths in the  last eight months from COVID-19.
