Accident:
Unit 1 Blue 2008 Dodge Avenger registered to Kendra Harris of Baxter, Iowa, driven by Mindy
Lynn Reed of Kildare Oklahoma.
Unit 2 Black 2008 Jeep registered to and driven by Ash lee Marie Barnes, 2323 Porter Ave., Des
Moines.
Unit 1 struck unit 2 as they were in the entrance to Me Donalds. No injuries, minor damages
estimated at $1000 total. Driver vehicle 1 cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability
accident related.
Sept 28:
Officers responded to the 1800 block of Ludnda on a report of a car burglary. Loss estimated at
$5. Under investigation.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of 2″d Street on a report of a car burglary. Loss of $150
reported. Case under investigation.
Received a report of a car burglary in the 900 block of Willis Ave. Total estimated loss of $40.
Case under Investigation.
Received a report of a car burglary in the 900 block of W znd Street. Nothing missing from the
vehicle.
Sept 29:
Officers responded to the 300 block of Warford on a report of a theft from a vehicle. Possibly
taken was a cellphone used for emergency calls only. Under investigation.

Accident:
Unit 1 White 2013 Volvo registered to and driven by Abedom Okubazgi Yhidego, 2512 Perry
Park Ave, Perry.
Unit 2 Gray 2006 Honda Civic Sedan, registered to Maria M Cortez De Martinez, 3916 Cornell,
Des Moines, driven by Clemente Cordero Chajon, 1314 Hull Ave, Des Moines, Iowa.
Unit 2 was stopped at the intersection at a red light while traveling westbound on Highway 141,
and unit 1 was also westbound on Highway 141 and failed to stop. Total estimated damages
$10,000, Driver of unit 1 was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance accident related
and violation of an instruction permit limitation and failure to stop in assured clear distance,
Driver of unit 2 was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability accident related.
October 1:
Received a report of a shoplifter at Orscheln’s Farm and Home in the 400 block of 1’1 Ave, Perry.
Case under investigation.
