Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls cross country raced in a make up race on Tuesday at the Leon Fox Invitational in Perry, as the Tiger girls were able to grab a first place team performance on the day with a score of 31.

Geneva Timmerman was able to grab a first place performance with a time of 19 minutes and 22 seconds, with the next runner not coming in until 21 minutes exactly for second. Hannah Desmarais and Paige Mattes were able to get 4th and 5th place on the day, putting up some of their best finishes of the year.

ADM boys JV competed, and were able to do well as they finished second in the race.

The race was originally last Thursday but due to weather it had to be postponed, as only five teams in both the boys and the girls divisions competed.

ADM boys and girls will be returning to the course tomorrow for a key regular season meet at Atlantic tomorrow, with conference, district, and state meets to follow.
