An exit closure on the Interstate 80 bridge over Highway 169 will have Dallas County drivers looking for a detour. 

The Iowa Department of Transportation announced that the westbound Interstate 80 bridge over Highway 169 in DeSoto will be closed for five nights, weather permitting. The project is to repair beams on the bridge.

The closures will all be from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on October 7th-8th, and October 11th-14th. There will be detours for both northbound and southbound lanes on Highway 169.
