Paton-Churdan’s volleyball team dropped both matches it played on Saturday at the CAM Tournament in Anita. Coach Makayla Sparr’s team fell to 1-11 on the season after losses to Underwood 6-21, 5-21, and to Riverside (Oakland). No scores were reported for the match vs. Riverside.

The coming week is the last of the regular season for the Rockets. They travel to Mondamin on Tuesday to face West Harrison (3-19) before hosting Eagle Grove (0-19) on Thursday. The last regular season event for P-C is on Saturday at the Rolling Valley Activities Conference Tournament. The postseason begins with a trip to Ft. Dodge St. Edmond to face the Gaels on Oct. 18 in the opening round of Class 1A regional tournament play.
