Greene County and Paton-Churdan end their respective conference dual meet volleyball seasons tonight in different parts of the state. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams go to Saydel High School on the northeast side of Des Moines while Coach Makayla Sparr’s Rockets travel west to Mondamin to face West Harrison.

The Rams and Eagles meet in the final Heart of Iowa Activities Conference action this season. Greene County is 3-3 in the league and 14-9 overall while Saydel is 1-5 and 4-26. The Rams could lock up a winning season, not only in the HOIAC, but overall, with a victory tonight. The last time a Greene County varsity volleyball had more wins than losses in a season was in 2011, the first year playing as Greene County. The 2011 squad went 22-12 overall and was 7-2 in the conference.

P-C is 1-11 overall and 0-7 in the Rolling Valley Activities Conference. WH is 3-19 on the season and also 0-7 in the conference.
