An Urbandale man was killed in a car crash on Interstate 80 near DeSoto this past Sunday. 

According to the Iowa State Patrol, 25-year-old Kenneth Mueller was killed as he was traveling westbound in a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Interstate 80 near the 115 mile marker near DeSoto.

A 2019 Freightliner Tractor Trailer had stopped in traffic due to another fatality crash and Mueller did not reduce speed and rear ended the tractor trailer and was pronounced dead on scene.
