The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved a Hy-Vee wellness screening services agreement at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

Hy-Vee will do the wellness services on-site for county employees. Also, the Board approved a billing adjustment request for the EMS Department, then held a medical examiner workshop and heard a secondary roads update. 

Also, the Board approved mower purchases for the secondary roads department for $56,220 from Reueter’s Equipment in Grand Junction and approved multiple operating transfers. 

Additionally, the Board set a public hearing for the Pitney Bowes postage meter lease for October 26th at 9:30 a.m. It will replace the meter at the human services campus because it is no longer supported.

The Board then approved courthouse roof repair due to derecho damage.Three bids were received with the low bid which was from Renaissance Restoration Incorporated for $27,500, which the Board approved. 

Finally, the Board set a public hearing for October 26th at 9:45 a.m. for first readings of proposed amendments to Chapter 2 of Dallas County ordinances about county infractions, and they held discussions on future county and court space needs and development agreements with Tyson Fresh Meats, but no action was taken on either item.
