AG/GC will play for a district championship tonight in football against Van Meter.

The chargers enter this game undefeated with a record of 7-0 and a district record of 4-0.  This game will see a lot of rushing yards from both teams, Gavin Cornelison who leads the state in rushing yards with 1,227 and Van Meter’s Dalten Van Pelt is second in rushing years in the state with 808.  Defense will come a premium with AC/GC only allowing 1 touchdown in their last four games and Van Meter only allowing 14 points all season. The chargers will have a tough task with Van Meter the defending West Central District Champions and runner up in the State Championship.
