The Guthrie Center City Council is considering using the money they would get from the County Farm to Market Cost Share. 

The County is going to share a portion of the cost of any farm to market road in Guthrie County.  Mayor of Guthrie Center Mike Herbert says the council has had ongoing discussions about it. 

“It’s an opportunity for the city to get some much needed attention there on North First Street.”

Herbert says storm sewer intakes are the main issue with North First Street.
