The last home volleyball match for Paton-Churdan was in Churdan on Thursday night. Coach Makayla Sparr’s Rockets had won one match this season before hosting winless Eagle Grove in non-conference play and the result was the first win of the season for the Eagles (1-20). Scores were 18-25, 9-25, 6-25.

Coach Sparr reports her team was led in digs by Emma Stream and Paige Teeples with six apiece, and Carmyn Paup with five.

The Rockets go to Anita tomorrow to play in the Rolling Valley Activities Conference Tournament hosted by CAM. On Monday, the Class 1A postseason begins with a first round regional tournament contest at Ft. Dodge St. Edmond vs. the Gaels.
