The Panorama Panthers Volleyball Team headed to Woodward-Granger High School Saturday to take part in a tournament.
The Panthers took on four teams Saturday hoping to come away with four wins but fell short throughout the matches. First the Panthers took on the Woodward-Granger Hawks losing in two sets with set one 21-9 and set two 21-14.
The Panthers then took on a familiar foe in the AC/GC Chargers also losing in two sets with the first set being 21-5 and the second set going 21-15. The Panthers then faced off against the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks losing set one 21-15 and set two 21-16.
The fourth match of the day for the Panthers had them facing off against the South Hardin Tigers and lost set one 21-4 and set two 21-10. After Saturday’s tournament the Panorama Panthers left Woodward-Granger High School with an overall record of 6-20 on the season.
The Panorama Panthers are now preparing for the Class 2A Region 3 first round match today as they take on the IKM-Manning Wolves. The Wolves are coming into tonight’s matchup with an overall record of 1-27 on the season.
The Panorama Panthers Volleyball Team will be taking on the IKM-Manning Wolves tonight beginning at 7 p.m. at Panorama High School for the Class 2A Region 3 first round match.
