School districts in Dallas County sent representatives to the Iowa High School Music Association All-State Festival auditions over the weekend with positive results. 

For the Perry Community School District Tony Roe qualified for All State as a member of the  chorus and Olivia Christensen was selected as an alternate in the band with her oboe performance. 

For the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District Michael Payne made it to All State for choir and Carly Kuhse as second clarinet in band, Sarah DenHerder for french horn in the orchestra and Clayton Gustafson was selected as the first alternate for band. 

Those who qualified for All-State will participate in the All-State Festival which will take place from November 18th-20th at Iowa State University.
