U.S. Congresswoman Cindy Axne

A local congresswoman puts her support behind President Joe Biden’s efforts to ensure workers at companies with at least 100 workers and federal government employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested weekly. 

Iowa’s Third Congressional District Representative Cindy Axne says there are only two things that can end the pandemic and that is the vaccines and mask wearing. She states this is not about taking away an individual’s rights. 

“It literally has to do with continuity of business to keep our supply chains going so Americans can get what they need and all the goods they need, so we can continue to grow our GDP(Gross Domestic Product).”

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has now set a deadline of January 4th for every business with at least 100 employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or face regular testing.
