The Perry School Board approved a junior class request for financial support at their regular meeting Monday. 

The Board approved a request for support from the junior class for $500 that will help them pay for prom that will be in May of 2022. Also, the Board approved a bus bid for a new bus in the amount of $112,000 to help update the bus fleet. 

Also, the Board approved the middle school softball and baseball programs which previous to this Perry was the only school in the Heart of Iowa Conference that did not offer the program. Additionally, the Board approved the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund Plan and early graduation requests.

Finally, the Board approved revisions of board policies and hires, transfers and resignations. Also, late agenda items came before the Board including an agreement for counseling services which was approved and will bring more counseling services to the District.
