
The Stuart City Council met Monday night.
The Council approved a resolution authorizing internal advance funding of urban renewal projects, the gas franchise fee and exempt forms, a 28E agreement with Guthrie County to maintain temporary fixtures on White Pole Road, discussing long term fixtures and they approved extra $2,169 for overtime pay to the Stuart Police Department.
Other items the Council heard include updates on the Blight Housing Program, and the Casey’s General Store improvement project.
The Council also held a public hearing and approved the sale of the property located on 113th Northeast 2nd Street for $5,100 as presented, a request from the All Saints Church to annex a certain property and proposed development agreements with several businesses in Stuart.
The Council approved by a 3-1 vote to not allow council members to serve on the citizen advisory committee with Council member Kristina Renlow voting against and declined to comment.
The Council then tabled the cemetery plotting survey North Oak Cemetery, as well as the final pay estimate and issue of a certificate of completion for the All Saints Project.
