With Veterans Day on Thursday, there are closures for Dallas County residents to be aware of. 

For Perry residents, Perry City Offices, Perry Waterworks, Perry Public Library and the McCreary Community Building will be closed on Thursday, but those 18 and older can still use the 24-hour fitness room at the McCreary Community Building. 

Also, for Perry garbage routes for Thursday will be picked up on Wednesday and there will be no changes for Friday’s garbage route. There will also be no yard waste collection on Wednesday. 

For Adel residents, Adel City Hall and the Adel Public Library will be closed on Veterans Day. Additionally, all Dallas County Offices will also be closed.
