The Guthrie County Supervisors selected Yale’s Mayor at their meeting on Tuesday. 

The Board conducted the 2021 city/school election first tier canvass of votes and Yale had two candidates tied with 34 votes between Steve Stanton and Tom Godwin for mayor. The winner was Tom Godwin by drawing his name out of a hat. 

The Board also approved a new hire payroll change notice for the Secondary Roads Department and a Samuels Group pay application for the law enforcement center project. 

The Board also set a public hearing on December 7th at 10am to sell land to Jennifer Ingles.  

The Board then heard updates from the Guthrie County Conservation and Secondary Roads Department.
