The Council heard an update about a three year Diversity Project from Greene County Development Corporation President Sid Jones. The Council then set a public hearing for December 14th at 5:30pm to review the wastewater treatment plant project and an application for a state Revolving Loan Fund. They also set November 23rd at 5:30pm as another public hearing to rezone property at 704 West Lincoln Way from residential single family to residential multi family because of an individual wanting to build a duplex.
Next, the Council approved the first reading of an ordinance to establish voting precincts. The amended ordinance would reduce the number of precincts from three to two, with the dividing boundary of Highway 4.
