A big project for Guthrie County is seeing some progress.

Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says that the Law Enforcement Center Project is behind on the initial projected completion date when the project started but some major parts of the project are close to being finished.

The roof is pretty much done and most of the brick has been laid, so if we can get it enclosed and get the windows in, you know, and have some heat, be able to heat the inside we’ll and be ready for when winter hits, which could happen any time now.”

Arganbright states when they get the roof completed they can then start working on interior aspects of the project like heating, plumbing and electrical during the winter. He projects the project to be done and ready for use around early summer of 2022.
