With the holiday season officially underway, a local library in Dallas County will be hosting a fun holiday activity next weekend. 

The Minburn Public Library will be hosting an event beginning at 4 p.m. December 4th. Kids can do holiday shopping for free from 4-5 p.m. at the American Legion Hall and is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. 

Also, people are invited to free coffee and cider in the food stand from 4-5:30 p.m. At 5 p.m. in Meek Park everyone is invited to take part in caroling, receive goodie bags and books as well as the lighting of the nativity scene. These festivities will be held at the Meek Park Stage.
