The Perry wrestling team picked up four victories Thursday night but it wasn’t enough as Winterset defeated the Bluejays 55-21 in the season opener.  State qualifier Cole Nelson looked sharp in his first match of the season pinning his opponent in the second period.  Tanner Burgin picked up a 3-0 decision at 145.  The Bluejays added a couple of victories by forfeit as well including heavyweight Alan Gomes.  Complete results are posted below.
