It’s time once again for another monthly event with the Perry Chamber of Commerce which will highlight another local organization.

The December Chamber Coffee will feature the Dallas County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity this Friday at 8 a.m. at the Towncraft Building in Perry. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the event will run the same even though it’s not at the business.

“Really, it’s an opportunity for them to host, to get to know people, share their key players with the community, tell us about what they are working on, (and) how people can get involved.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio the Dallas County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is a part of the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity and they will be providing coffee and treats along with a presentation.

The Perry Chamber Coffees are held on the second Friday of each month after they returned this year after taking time off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
