A Jefferson woman has been arrested for the possession of drugs.
According to court documents, 55-year-old Tammy Tolsdorf was arrested and charged with a Class D Felony for her third or subsequent offense for possession of methamphetamine, a serious misdemeanor for her second offense for possession of marijuana and a simple misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges stem from an incident on August 11th. Law enforcement was trying to arrest Christopher Quirk on a warrant for parole violation and he was staying at Tolsdorf’s home in Jefferson. After Quirk was arrested, a Jefferson Police Officer noticed drug-related items that Quirk admitted to having. The officer then told Tolsdorf that he was going to secure a search warrant for her home, but she then gave the officer permission to search the residence.
While the officer was searching the home, he found several drug-related items in Tolsdorf’s bedroom, including methamphetamine and marijuana residue, along with other drug paraphernalia. Tolsdorf was arrested on Friday and booked into the Greene County Jail.
