Austin Vanlandingham, age 34, 909 Freeman St, Dexter, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.

Crystal Shaffer, Panora, was driving in the 20000 block of Hwy 6 when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000.

Matthew Fox, Dallas Center, was traveling south on N Ave at Maple Ridge.  Laura Shalla, Waukee, was traveling north on N Ave when she turned in front of Mr. Fox’s vehicle. After the collision,  Mr. Fox entered the ditch, causing his vehicle and a trailer to overturn.  Ms. Shalla’s vehicle also entered the ditch.  Ms. Shalla and her passenger were transported to Mercy Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.  Mr. Fox and his passenger were both taken to Methodist Hospital for evaluation of their injuries.   Damage to Mr. Fox’s vehicle was estimated at $15000.  Damage to Ms. Shalla’s vehicle was estimated at $10000.
