
Greene County wrestlers were in Gilbert Tuesday night for a non-conference triangular with the Tigers of Gilbert and the Tigers of ADM. The Rams lost 39-35 vs. ADM and won 51-27 against Gilbert. The Rams are 4-1 in dual meets heading to a dual meet tournament in Ogden on Saturday.
The dual vs. ADM ended on an injury disqualification on the last bout, 152 lbs. Those six points carried the Tigers to the win and handed the Rams their first loss of the season. The Rams forfeited three weight classes while ADM had no forfeits. Of the 11 contested matches, Greene County won seven with five falls.
There were just seven contested matches vs. Gilbert with the Rams winning six of them and recording five falls.
Rams going 2-0 on the night were Gavyn Winters (106), Jacob Harmeyer (113/120), Dakota Mobley (126), McKinley Robbins (132), Nathan Black (160), Noble Hoyt (170), and Broc Hamann (285).
