Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers wrestling continued their solid start to the season on Tuesday night in their dual against Greene County and Gilbert, picking up a pair of victories 48-25 over Gilbert and 39-35 over Greene County.

The Tigers match against Greene County was a fascinating back and forth affair, with the Tigers barely able to squeeze out the team victory. David Finnegan and Ben Smith were both able to pick up fall wins in the contest. Nathan Tapken was also able to pick up a key 8-4 decision in the contest. ADM picked up a key conference victory over Gilbert, once again getting falls from Kadin O’Connor, Cael Ruby, Nathan Scanlan, Sam Mallory, Rylan Baase, and Ben Smith as well.

After grabbing a win over Earlham and a strong showing at the DCG Mustang Invitational, ADM has navigated a tough road map early in the season.

ADM will have another tournament coming up this Saturday when they take on multiple schools throughout the state of Iowa at Ankeny Centennial High School.
