Dec. 9

Timothy Murray, Van Meter, was traveling in the 25000 block of 360th in a De Soto Fire Department vehicle when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $500.  The crew proceeded to the original call they were dispatched to in Van Meter.

Dec. 10

Sydney Watson, age 21, 1927 NW 80th Pl, Clive, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.  She was also cited for Failure To Maintain Control and Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability.  Ms. Watson was traveling in the 32000 block of 360th St when she lost control of her vehicle, rolling it into the ditch.  No injuries were reported and the vehicle sustained an estimated $3000 damage.

Charles Elmquist, Atlantic, was traveling in the 35000 block of Ute Ave in an Iowa DOT truck, when a deer ran into his vehicle.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $500.

Dec. 11

Corey Hall, Bouton, was traveling in the 29000 block of 240th Street when he lost control and went into the ditch.  He was transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy hospital for evaluation of any injuries.  Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8000.

Graham Boehm, Adel, was traveling in the 27000 block of N Ave when he hit a cow that had escaped the fairgrounds earlier in the day.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated to the vehicle at $10000.  The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Dec. 12

Alberto Nolasco, age 20, 3700 Patricia Dr, Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.
