
Friday, December 10th
11:43am: A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on I Avenue near 270th Street. Kaleb Hoyle 18 of Grand Junction was driving a 2012 Ford F150 west on 270th Street. Stephen Hupp 65 of Scranton was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu north on I Avenue. Stephen failed to yield the right of way and struck Kaleb. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident. Nobody was injured. Stephen was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
3:56pm: Heidi Chapman 32 of Perry was booked into the jail for a violation of probation.
5:10pm: A deputy investigated a missing child in the 500 block of Jefferson Street, Scranton. The child was located in Jefferson.
Saturday, December 11th
2:40am: Nicholas Weber 21 of Scranton was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense.
8:28am: A deputy, Jefferson Fire Department, and Greene County Ambulance responded to an outbuilding fire in the 1400 block of 190th Street. The building had major damage from the fire. The cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical issue.
8:35am: A deputy investigated a theft in the 800 block of Q Avenue.
4:11pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of a stray dog in the 2300 block of 110th Street.
5:53pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of a stray dog in the 100 block of North Street, Paton.
11:26pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 500 block of Wise Street, Paton.
Sunday, December 12th
12:35am: Jeannette Bear 28 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for a violation of a no contact order.
8:22am: A deputy assisted with a cow out in the 1000 block of J Avenue.
8:30am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street and W Avenue.
12:15pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Dudley Street, Churdan.
5:14pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 900 block of Irving Street, Scranton.
8:34pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 300 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
